It is great when you find a band you really enjoy and want to keep listening to. It is even more amazing when you share your love for the band with your whole family. Unleash the Archers is a band that has won the hearts of this household and continues to keep a strong hold on us. As a metal family that tends to lend our ears to the heavier side of metal, it is nice to find a good balance among the many impressive subgenres we have at our disposal. Between Brittney Slayes remarkable vocals, Andrew Kingsley’s insane guitar skills and vocals, Grant Truesdell’s killer guitar work and intense harsh vocals, Scott Buchanan’s perfection in the pocket and fills on the drums, and Nick Miller’s superb bass notes, you get a recipe for greatness.
Unleash the Archers has an exceptional discgography with 2020 Abyss and 2022 Apex double storyline albums plummetting them even further into the hearts of many. After this they released another incredible album, Phantoma in 2024. While the birdie that is Brittney discusses them working on the next one, she states they want to take their time with this one. In the meantime, Slayes returned to the microphone with recording the “The Transformers” theme song for the latest album, The Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition. Once again, she knocked what she does so well out of the park.
