Metal vocalists are incredibly diverse, with many different styles. Some you have heard before may sometimes surprise you with more diversity in other projects. John Robert Centorrino (ex-Crystal Lake, The Last Ten Seconds of Life) is one of these musicians. He has started a new band, Dirt Helmet, along with Bryan Dilionnis and Mike Menocker, and it rips!
Dirt Helmet is in the early stages of conception, but what they are about to throw out to the world is worth checking out. The upcoming EP, Coffin Teeth, features three songs that are aggressive, brutal, and some of the best metal has to offer. I encourage you to follow the socials to be one of the first to check these guys out as they rise.
John sat down with Metal Nation to discuss this new project.
