WEDNESDAY 13 Interview: Halloween Comes Early

With Halloween around the corner, it is fun to get into the spirit of the holiday with horror-related music, and no one does this better than Wednesday 13, who has a new album coming out October 7th, 2022 through Napalm Records titled, Horrifier. This album covers everything from Murderdolls soundscapes to Wednesday 13’s accents throughout the years. While it is enjoyable to listen during this time of year, I can guarantee you will want to continue to savor long after. It is that good.

Wednesday 13 was originally the vocalist of the horror-punk band, Murderdolls before deciding to go solo with a continuation of the topic he holds dear, horror-related themes. Not only does he create melodies and lyrics pertaining to scary movies he also spawns terrifying videos of these songs. In the following interview, he discusses possibly making his own movie/s in the future. He also has a fairly intense cult following who are always eager to see what he comes up with next. This is no surprise since everything he touches seems to generate incredible outcomes. Whether it be the music or videos or Patreon “Necrophazerz”, he appears to have tricks up his sleeve after all these years in the business.

We chatted with Wednesday 13 about the upcoming release, as well as other future endeavors and interests. If you are viewing from a phone, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click “View Desktop Version” for interview and music video content.
