The Cavelara family is a well-known and very beloved household in the metal world. It’s been exciting to see some of the kids continue in the metal world and join their father, Max, on songs and projects. Igor Amadeous Cavalera is one of those who has made a name for himself through his own band, Healing Magic, and together with his father in Go Ahead and Die. He has also joined Nailbomb on tour. The tour also includes Incite, Richie Cavalera‘s Band, and Soulfly, which we all know is Max, joined by another son, Zylon, on drums. Too much talent in one tour! The tour begins on September 18th, 2026, in Kentucky and goes until October 15th.
Igor is talented in many ways. He is not only a musician but also a writer. As a big fan of books, I was excited to jump on this subject and discuss what he has written and what he enjoys reading.
