VERMINATION Interview: We Look Up to the Older Musicians

It is incredible how young some of these bands are as they start creating music. I remember Silverchair were a phenomenon in the 90s at their age; now it seems like it is not super uncommon to find a young band putting out music. It is even more interesting when the band is putting out an older style of music that is still extremely beloved. Vermination is a group of teenagers playing death metal and doing it extremely well. They are definitely someone to add to your radar.

Vermination began in 2025, is from Florida, and consists of four members. They are Nathan Tomasello (vocals, guitar), Rulon Manrique (guitar), Vladimir Goryaninov (bass), and Dorian Donchev (drums).  While they are a younger group of guys, you would have no idea through their music. Tomasello has a brutal voice that shocks me to hear come out of him. The musicianship Manrique, Goryaninov, and Donchev bring to the table is aggressive and impressive. Crazy fast drumming, exciting riffs, and a fantastic balance within it all. There are also some ferocious breakdowns and crazy tones. They are one all death metal fans should check out.

Nathan and Ru were kind enough to sit down with Metal Nation and talk about Vermination.
