Some metal bands focus on being very serious, while others are focused on being anything but serious. Others are a little in between. Nunslaughter falls under this category. While they obviously take their music seriously, the lyrical themes tend to be more tongue-in-cheek. Satanic Chaos Legions is their latest release, set for June 26th, 2026. It is heavy, thrashy, and quirky. This black metal band has been around for nearly 40 years and is showing no signs of stopping any time soon.
Nunslaughter began around 1985 and has consistently released music since then. The members go by their alter-ego names, Don of the Dead (vocals), Wrath (drums), Malum (bass), and Tormentor (guitar), which adds to the pizazz this band brings. Satanic Chaos Legions is neck-breaking, head-banging, brutal metal and refuses to let up.
