I appreciate when bands that have released a lot of music can still surprise you. Miss May I is releasing their eighth studio album titled No Place For Me, and it is extraordinary. It’s raw, creative, and enlightening. There are moments of aggressive vocals and compositions, and moments of tranquility and melodious choruses. They are already known for these things, but they’ve added layers of different soundscapes and compositions here and there. It is one you don’t want to sleep on. Make sure you check it out on October 2nd when it is released!
Miss May I began in 2007 in Ohio. Levi Benton (vocals), Jerod Boyd (drums), Ryan Neff (bass, clean vocals), and Elisha Mullins (lead guitar) are the originators of No Place For Me. The entire album is something special; they have a few twists along the way to demand the attention of the listener.
