I have seen some bands many times that consistently deliver incredible live shows. August Burns Red is one of those bands. They not only bring the heat live, but also drop some of the best metalcore music. The latest album, Season of Surrender, was another magnificent musical journey, with the track “Behemoth” really making huge waves with this writer. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, I highly recommend you do.
August Burns Red began its journey over two decades ago and has not shown any signs of slowing down. The band has had minimal member changes, which is rare for bands that have been around for so long. Jake Luhrs (vocals), John Benjamin “JB” Brubaker (lead guitar), Matt Greiner (drums, piano), Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar), and Dustin Davidson (bass, backing vocals) are the musicians behind the magic. They bring imaginative compositions and an exciting stage presence that always leaves you energized and happy. I encourage you all to see them live to see what I mean.
