My favorite thing about rock and metal is the intense diversity of subgenres under the umbrella of the main rock and metal genre. So, unless you look to see what kind of band you are listening to before you click play, it could be several styles. Absinthe Green is one that is difficult to categorize because they themselves have many styles within their music. I would venture to say a hard rock and pop sound with emotional depth, beautiful vocals, and lyrics. Songwriter and producer Eirini, who goes by the stage name Absinthe Green, created this project back in 2016 and shows no signs of stopping.
Absinthe Green hails from many areas in Europe over the years and consists of members: Eirini Absinthe Green (vocals), Villy Pirris (bass), Harry Mason (drums), and Panos Economakis (guitar). They have released the album Of Love and Pain on September 19th, 2025, and it is a breathtaking album full of melodies, incredible vocals, and honest lyrics about important topics. The videos are visually creative and impressive with an artistic touch. The album cover is one of the most appealing covers I have ever seen, with emerald green colors and many items fixed into an awe-inspiring picture.
