One thing you can say about the band DieHumane, they are extremely different and they never disappoint. Between the mix of metal, jazz, blues, and eerie saxophone, I cannot seem to get enough. Their debut album, The Grotesque, released in 2023, has been a constant in this writers playlists. When you add in the horror-type elements in their videos, it is a recipe for a mind-altering experience.
DieHumane is made up of three core members: Garret West (Vocals), Josh Vargas (bass), and Rick Hunolt (guitar). They have added Evanescence drummer, Will Hunt, to the mix for the upcoming EP, as well as some guest vocalists, Chuck Billy of Testament and Jeffrey Nothing ex-Mushroomhead.
West, Vargas, and Hunolt sat down with Metal Nation and discussed many topics, including upcoming EP, possible touring, and horror-related videos. (If you are viewing from your phone, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click, “View Desktop Version” to gain video and interview access).
