The band Destrage is full of surprising twists and turns, with deranged soundscapes, vivid musicianship, and flawless transformations from one tempo to another. You almost get whiplash listening to one song in its entirety and do not recover song after song. The most compelling part of this is how beautifully this is accomplished and how organized they are able to create this discombobulated instrumentation into something quite mesmerizing. I had listened to 30 seconds of the first track and knew I wanted to jump at this interview. I have listened to the album multiple times and never grow weary of one bit of it. Do not be surprised to see this on my top 20 albums of the year 2022.
SO MUCH. Too Much. is one of the best titles I have yet to come across. It says so much in four simple words. This incredible album will be released on September 16th, 2022 through 3DOT Recordings. Destrage is made up of ridiculously talented musicians: Paolo Colavolpe (vocals), Matteo Di Gioia (guitar), Federico Paulovich (drums), and Ralph Guido (guitar).
