Boise, Idaho, has an amazing music community. Metal is just one part of this. Everyone is extremely supportive and involved, which makes it truly special. I have been part of this for about 20 years, and I have seen it grow and grow. Basement has been a big element of this since 1997. Although they took a hiatus for a few years, they returned in 2017, and the community quickly welcomed them back with open arms. They are a beloved band in our area, and you can see it at any show they play. People show up and swarm to the stage.
Basement is made up of Jeffro Hoskins (vocals), Bo Bonney (guitar), Mychal Jenkins (drums), and Jeremy Trull (bass). They were just chosen for the second time in Battle of the Bands to open for X-Fest. On September 26th, 2026, they will be performing on the same stage as Godsmack, Dorothy, and Stone Temple Pilots. They are a live show you don’t want to miss! Get there early and see why they are so loved. Also, Basement loves you!
