When you hear the name Audrey Horne, many people automatically think of the show Twin Peaks, but if you are someone who loves metal, you instead might think of the incredible band with the same name from Norway. Audrey Horne has been around for twenty years and has just released their seventh album, Devil’s Bell on April 22nd, 2022. It is full of great riffs, stellar lyrics and vocals, and fantastic musicianship. I have found myself listening to it over and over again. The title track has really stuck with me and has become a fast favorite, yet the entire album slays.
While the weather may be cold in Norway, the metal is quite hot. The members of this solid rock band include: Torkjell “Toschie” Rød (vocals), Arve Isdal (guitar), Thomas Tofthagen (guitar), Espen Lien (bass), Kjetil Greve (drums). They have continued doing what they love and doing it very well.
