LORD OWL Interview: Ryan Regrets Having a Dragonforce Poster

There are many incredible vocalists out there in the music world, but there are those who have incredibly distinct and amazing vocals. Ryan Gratton from Lord Owl, Fault Paradox, and The Reptilians is that vocalist. He has a unique way of singing that demands your attention, almost a Brandon Boyd of Incubus S.C.I.E.N.C.E album style, but more creative, a risky statement I know I am making, but I believe it. What is even more interesting is that he does different vocal styles with each project he is fronting. He is multi-talented with his voice and with instruments, as he also plays guitar and percussion. Lord Owl is his most recent project, which is the one we chose to focus on for this interview, but we definitely covered a multitude of things!

Gratton wears many hats on and off stage. We discuss much of what he is involved in and what he is up to in the interview. I originally knew him from Fault Paradox, so it was interesting learning more about the other bands and all he is involved in. I will add links below so you are able to follow each one and see what they are all up to.

He was kind enough to sit down with Metal Nation and discuss Lord Owl, some Fault Paradox, and The Reptilians, as well as many other topics about music and the industry.
